主讲嘉宾简介：

Dr. Shuting Fan got her B.Eng degree fromthe College of Precision Instruments and Opto-electronics, Tianjin Universityin 2011. She graduated from the Department of Electronics and ComputerEngineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a PhD degreein August, 2015. Since then she has been working as a postdoctoral ResearchFellow in the THOT laboratory the School of Physics, University of WesternAustralia.

Her research interest is the metrology forterahertz reflection imaging including novel sample preservation techniques andthe improvement of data processing algorithms. The results on the data processing algorithms are expect to be publishedin the journal Photonics Research. She has also been working onterahertz tissue characterization with a focus on the study of wound healingand scar management. She has published her work in the Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics, Physics in Medicine and Biologyand Quantitative imaging in medicineand surgery with a totalcitation of 86 times. She has presented her work in several internationalconferences including 1 invited talk and 1 keynote talk.
